Working Method

Remove pie lids from freezer and let come to room temperature.  Fill shells with 2 lb. 4 oz. cherry filling.  Slice pie lid into 1/2-inch strips and place in lattice pattern on top of prepared shell.  Trim edges and bake at 350°F until dough strips are golden brown.
