Donut Emoji Directions

Bake cake according to manufacturer’s instructions. Cool completely. Using baked leftover cake, measure out 2 pounds 8 oz baked cake (great use for cake bellies). Pulse in food processor until finely chopped, mix in 5 ounces of buttercream, kneading to combine. Using a #40 plum scoop, scoop cake balls and press into silicone mini donut molds. Freeze overnight. Melt the milk chocolate. Unmold the mini donuts. Dip the sticks in prepared chocolate and place on the flat side of half of the unmolded donuts. Working one at a time, dip the flat side of the reserved donuts in chocolate and sandwich it onto each flat surface with a stick making a round donut pop. Once pops have set up, remove from floral foam and line up on a sheet tray. Gently warm chocolate fon dip and pipe in the center of each pop, add sprinkles.
