In a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream together 2 pounds shortening, 1 pound 8 oz molasses, and 1 pound brown sugar until no lumps remain. Slowly add in 1 pound 8 oz eggs and mix until fully combined, scraping down the bowl often. Add 6 oz cinnamon, 10 pounds creme cake base, 1 pound 8 oz flour, and 1.5 oz baking powder and mix until a dough forms, scrape the bowl, and mix for another 30 seconds. If dough is too stiff, add additional water little by little until desired consistency is reached. Roll dough to ¼ inch thickness, cut into pig shapes, place onto a papered sheet pan; egg wash, and bake at 350°F until golden brown.
To make egg wash, use a ratio of 2:1 whole eggs:water. For example, for every pound of eggs used, add 8 oz water. Mix together and add a pinch of salt if desired.
