Mix cake according to manufacturer’s instructions. Measure out 3 pounds batter, deposit 1 pound into a sprayed and papered 8-inch cake pan. Repeat two times to make 3 cakes total. Bake at 350 ͦF until cake springs back lightly when touched. Let cool completely.
Fill, crumb coat, and smooth ice cake with light blue buttercreme. Mix together sprinkles and place around the bottom of the cake. Heat flat icing and pipe it around the edges of the cake to make drips down the sides of the cake. Fill in the top and let flat icing set up completely. Pipe blue buttercream around the top edges of the cake and decorate with prepared sprinkle blend.
For the sprinkles: Mix together 4oz pearls, 1 pound pink decorettes, 1 pound purple decorettes, 2oz pink non-pareils, 4.5oz crispearls, and 2oz white non-pareils
