Spooky Cake Pops

Working Method

Use prepared leftover Baker’s Request white cake; (this is a great use for cake bellies).  Grind 2 lb of frozen white cake in food processor until the mixture resembles sand, mix in 6oz buttercreme and mix to combine. Using a 1 Tablespoon scoop, portion and then roll the prepared mixture into rounds.  Refrigerate overnight.

Melt white Van Leer Shine (1 lb) and Sweetex (5 oz) together.  Using white sucker sticks, dip the end into prepared Van Leer Shine mixture and then insert into the prepared rounds. Refrigerate 10 minutes to set. Dip the cake pop into the prepared Van Leer Shine and then place stick end into floral foam and refrigerate for 10 minutes. Note: you may need to do this twice to completely cover the brownie. When set, drizzle with more Van Leer Shine and refigerate to set again. Pipe two little green eyes using the emerald green buttercreme.

Fry donut holes using Dawn® Cake Donut Mix as directed on the bag. Dip the pop sticks in chocolate coating before inserting into un-iced donut holes and allow to set.
