Prepare white cake mix according to manufacturer’s instructions. Deposit 1 lb. prepare batter into sprayed and papered 8-inch cake pans. Bake at 350°F until cake springs back lightly when touched. Let cool completely.
Fill and ice cake with buttercreme. Press pearls 1/3 of the way up the sides of the cakes. Place buttercreme in a piping bag fitted with a large star tip. Pipe rosettes on the top of the cake and immediately sprinkle with pearls.
